a quick brochure site -all hail the mighty views / cck
If i ever dared to question drupals power i must bow down... Taxonomy, cck & views - Hell Yeah!
The last couple of months i have been working on a huge site with more content types & taxonomy terms that i even dare to think of (online in a week I promise! unless...) but of-course another client pop his head up in our shop and just want us to throw together a site for him: spisekammeret.net
Well one thing is a 1200 nodes-taxonomy-cck-views- juganaught, another is a small 20 pages site. but woho with drupal you can build both sites almost exactly the same way -> Views, CCK and my new best friend: viewfield module When first the concept about "views inside nodes with an argument" is clear, its pure kick ass rock n roll - One could argue that its totally overkill to use use cck views etc for such a small site ... hell no! Every little thingie (the products) in the site is a node, so whatever idea the client will have in the future will be easy to implement if its change the ordering, create a new product, delete, and maybe implement some kind of webshop ;)?
The sweet thing is that it took 3 days (with 2 other deadlines on the side) for me to smack the hole site together, from the time I got the pdf brochure to the site is online :)
Congrats jesper with the new shop - make a million so we can sell some sandwiches online!
Thanks for pointing out the
Thanks for pointing out the usefulness of the viewfield module. I'd seen it but never downloaded and tried it out, but when you mentioned it in the context of a product list, I thought it could be something I needed to explore.
I think that the viewfield module is also my new best friend. It certainly makes styling product lists easier!
All the best,
Richard

My site had a problem with the captcha module until yesterday. Needed to install http://drupal.org/project/form_store and revisit the captcha setting.
Weird one that. I like your site!
