DrupalCamp Copenhagen May09 - Revenge of the TiplPhiphs!

We have talked about now for months and its slowly comming together - the 2. Drupalcamp Copenhagen.
Its gonna be so hot you better wear a bathing suit!

We learned a lot last time in november, so this time we hope know its gonna be so much better.

camp 2.0 baby!

First of all we try to give the newbees a better intro, so they dont feel like idiots all the time (we know that will happen later ;)
Were focusing on only a bit of things instead of trying to be all over - Due to the Design revolution(tm) in DC/DC this will be the European spearhead (trying not to do any more WWII metaphors ... i promise)
So a lot of focus will be in the theming area (yeah!)

To let you in what we (me, mikl, beltofte & rasmus) have planned so far:

Install Party

But first on friday (its a holiday in dk thursday) were gonna have an oldskool install party -so bring your laptop, or swing by to se how you can get ya very own drupal on your machine. -its not my little pony but my little drupal ;)

At the same time on friday, were gonna have the traditional pre register party @republikken (a shared offices space for a lot of cool people ) where were gonna blend in their friday bar -and you can taste some of the top danish brewers beer (yeah im working on some sweet sponsorship) - so freebeer & install party - how hot is that?
We dont have a pole - but the Fussball table will be open.

Theming sessions

Were gonna focus a lot of the time on theming so the Following sessions have been planned at this point:

* Theming 101 - the Basic .tpl stuff to get all on the same page(.tpl ...)
* Grids - the wonders of grid based theming - by international RockStar todd "the boss" Niernkirk
* SIFR - we got the creator of the Sifr technology, and hes gonna show us all the goodies.
* Drupal.org redesign theming across continents.
* Views Theming - Stop the Crying and send luv to the developers.
* Theming inheritence. basethemes - and new ways to fuck up your life as a themer ;)
* Whats wrong with a TiplPhiph? - the big bad round of lets moan about what we think is wrong - and let us fix it!
* D4D - whats that? - and why dont you designers just STFU...

the not theming sessions

Offcourse its not all .tpl & html / js + css awesomeness. we got some pretty awesome clean mean drupalstuff

* Twitter DIY - Services with REST & OAuth - From the good old guys from Sweden malmö Copenhagen M
* Building the Hoist - social application building
* Drupal development 101 - the basic ins & outs of the big D
* #fail - come and tell where and how you Failed (2-3 minuts of lightning talks)
* Multisite hosting
* Drupal Denmark - Huh yet another organisation ?
* i18n & i10n
* How to by Drupal - The checklist for clients. lets build one so the clients gonna know what they should demand from "us"
* The Big Card swop. Whos who? and how can we help eachother

This is still only the confirmed sessions - We are hoping that You (yeah baby you!) are gonna bring their own sessions to the camp

oooh and the Venue: Rummet is goddamn awesome - and have hotels all around it :)

Am i looking forward to it - goddamn bet ya, and it looks like we moved over the first 100 users :P
